Do I need a card for the free plan?
No, and a work email is fine too. Link the AI you already use, add your files and start building memories.
Why does Locul need my Claude, ChatGPT or Grok plan?
Reading your files and writing memories takes an AI model. Locul uses the plan you already pay for, in small batches in the background. If you hit your plan's limit it pauses and picks up when the limit resets. An API key or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio works as well.
What happens at 1,000 memories?
Locul stops adding new ones and tells you how much is waiting. Search, your AI apps and export keep working, and nothing is deleted.
When do I need Team?
When a second person from your company joins, or you turn on the shared brain. Until then, one person on a work email can stay on Free or Personal Cloud.
I am on Business or Studio. What changes?
Nothing. You keep your plan, your price and your included AI for as long as you stay subscribed.
Are prices shown with VAT?
Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from your dashboard. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Your memories stay on your computer and you can export them.
